The Grand Master of ths above Order for New Zealand, Brs H, Napthftli, of Napier, attended by Bro Chappell, District Deputy Grand Mar er for Wellington, arrived here by Ihe Estonia oa Tuesday for the purpose of instigating a Lodge of the above Order in Nelson. The first msrting was held on Tuesday night at King's Hnll when the Lodge was duly instituted, and the Grand Master, who was ably assisted by Bro. Chappell, initiated the now members, after which the following brothren were duly installed into their •Sides. — Noble Grand and Treasurer, Bro. Bey. A. G. Wright ; Vioe Grand, Bro. W. Snow; Recording Sec, Bro. G. H. Buckeridge ; Permanent Sec., Bro. Besley; Conductor, Bro. Hounaell (P. H.) ; Warden, Bro. Logan ; Inner Guard, Bro. Vercoe. We understand that Dr Leggatt has been appointed Medical Officer, and Messrs Lo^an, Osborne, and F. H. Hounselli Trustees. The second meeting was held last evening at King's Hall, when the Master initiated the balance of members ready for initiation, making in all, with older members, about 25, and there are several waiting initiation who could not attend.
