Opposite the stand Dunlop drew clear out from, Silver Mine, Australian Peer, and Aberoorn, and. the race resulted in a good finish, Dunlop managing to get home by a clear length from Silver Mine, while Australian Peer was beaten off hy a length fof' third place. Aberoorn was half a head fourth. Recall fifth, Oakleigh sixth, Algerian seventh, and then followed Silver Prince, Cranbrook, Jebusite, Meteor, and Pakeha. Charmer and' Sardiua were the last two.
