The gale of yesterday morning, combined with the high tide, did some damage to the wall of Trafalgar Park as well as injuring the grass by the sea breaking over it. The wind got up again late last night and at midnight it was blowing as hard as ever, and it was feared that still more mischief would be done at Trafalgar Park. Fortunately, however, the fears proved unfounded, for this morning the wall was found to be in much the same condition as on the previous evening.
