RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

[Before O, Curtis, Esq",, R.M.] 9 Michael Healy was charged with disorderly \ behaviour on the Port JRoad on Good Priday. £ Fined 10s and costs. Cockram Westrupp was charged with t disorderly behaviour on the Port Boad, also 1 with assaulting ConstaTblc Phair in the j execution of his duty. The Constable said he < arrested both the men for fighting, and ] Westrupp was very violent, so much so that i he had to get Healy to help him. Several i previous convictions having been proved againßt the accused, he was sentenced to a : week's imprisonment for the first offence, and i a month's hard labor for the Becond. H. V. Philli/'s. v Mason— Claim for 19s lld for goods supplied. Judgment for amount and costs 7s. Sjjerrey v. J. AM. Packer.— Claim for £2 6s 7d, property tax.
