The Kennedy is detained at Hokitika to-day by a heavy sea. Th» Murray arrived from Wellington this morning, and sails at 9 o'clock to-night for West Coast ports. The Charles Edward reached Westport last evening, and is detained there to-day by bad weather, if practicable, she proceeds to Hokitika tonight. The Grafton arrived from Wellington and South at 9 o'clock this morning, and sails at 5 - 30 p.m. for Weatporh The Lady BarWy returned from Golden Bay this afternoon. t<he makes a trip to Motueka to-morrow, leaving here at 6"30 a m. and there on the return at B*3o a.m. The Koranui leaves Wellington to-morrow night, will arrive here on "Friday morning, and sail by the Bame tide at 10 a.m. for the West Coast. The Hawea will arrive here from Taranaki nnd Manukau to-morrow morning, and sail by the same tide at 9"30 a.m. for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton. The Penguin sailed for Southern ports at 7 o'clock last night, and reached Wellington at 10 o'clock this niorning. The Kotorua leaves Wellington at 12-30 to-morrow, will arrive here on Friday morning, and sail at 10 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington, Taranaki, and Manukau, taking the San Francisco mail. The Elizabeth arrived from Fern Town thismorniDg, bringing a cargo of coal ft >r Mr Burford. The Triumph is advertised to leave Wellington on June 28lh for Port Derby, via Auckland, taking passengers forj.be Kimberley goldfields. The Union S.S Company are the ageats of the Triumph. Passengers must book by noon on Saturday next. The ship-'iDg and flagst&ffs at the Port were gaily decorated with bunting to-day in honor of the marriage of Mr J. Kicketts, who is well known in nautical ciroles, to Miss Kidson, daughter of Mr J. Kidson of the Lighthouse.
