The Wallace arrived from Westport last night, and leaves for Wanganui and Hokitika at 7 o'clock to-night. The Charles Edward arrived at Hokitika this morning, and leaves there for Greymouth to-morrow. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay last night, and leaves for Waitapu and CoMingwood at 10 p.m. to-morrow. The Wanaka arrived at 9 30 a.m. to-day, having left Port Chalmers on Monday, Akaroa and Lyttelton on Tuesday, Wellington at 1 2 40 p.m. yesterday, and Picton at 1115 last night. Fine weather marked the run up the coast. She sailed for Taranaki and Manukau at 1 p.m The Penguin arrived here at 8 am. today, having left Onehunga at 10 am. on Wednesday, and Taranaki at 5 - 30 p.ni. yes terday. She experienced a southerly gale with a nasty beam sea throughout the passage. The Penguin left for P.eton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 11 a.m. The brigantine Anthons brought up at the outer anchorage last night. She is bound from Wellington to Greymouth, and is 26 days out. Twice she has been offthe Greymouth bar, the last occasion being on Friday, but before the tug could come out to tow her in a westerly gale sprang up, and she was compelled to put to sea in company with several other vessels. Since then she has experienced heavy weather, and her stock of provisions having ran short she put in here to obtain a fresh supply. Owing to the breaking of the driving wheel of the steamer Durham, when between Adelaide and Portland, she had to put into the latter port, but subsequently came on to Melbourne without mishap.
