New advertisements appear to-day to the following effect : — A concert in aid of the widow and fami'y of the late Captain Hamilton will be given in the Provincial Hall on the Ist August. — Tenders for building a Temperance Hall at Wakefield will be received toy Mr J. Thomas. — Entertainment by Richmond Literary and Musical Society to-morrow evening. — Mr E. Main advertises new brands of tobacco. — Call of one half -penny in the Queen Charlotte Sound Coal Mining Company payable at Mr Reeves' office on the Ist August. — Messrs James and Co. will hold a sale of fat pigs to-morrow, to be followed by a sale of general merchandise. — Mr Mabin will se)\ rice and seed potaties on Saturday. — Selwyn Place House to let, apply Sclanders and Co.
