Report on ft Sample of Imperial ,Scbiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. 3. Hast. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed: article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Be forth; in a separate report show that, this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of solid matter in solution; It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely 5 free from' any trace of fusil or other injuriouo impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain,' always used instead of malt in the production of the choicmst' qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect comparts favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally^ witable for medical or econbmic purposea.
