COMMERCIAL.
Mr Mabin reports that at his auction sale at Brightwater yesterdayj there was a small attendance. Those present were chiefly -; buyers of cattle, for which the competition '. was keen, but for horses the demand was very slack. Cows, nearly dry, fetched £6 10s ; bull, two years off, £4; yearling bull calf, £1 10s. Mr Mabin quotes Knight's cheese at lid per lb. _.
