IMPERIAL SeEIEDAM_SSHNAPFS 8 Dr. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, RC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Bchnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Sckiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Government Analj tical Laboratory, ;Melbourne, 2Srd. July, 1877. ' Hbnbi J. Bart, Esq. Sir,— l have the honor 'to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Sehnapps'forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that ifc is the ; Finest Sample of Schnapps that, as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injuriou" impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used . instead of malt in the production of the i "choicest quajities of Schnapps. It is very! smooth to the palate, and in this respect compari s favourably with other samples offered ■ for sale. It may be advised as equally! snit- ; able for medical or economic purposes. I have the honour to be, _*c, CSigred) Wm. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to the Government of ; Victoria. This Pure Medical Spirt, Superior to any j in the Market, and Lower in Price, is offered j to the Public under the full conviction that it i will supersede all others now in use. a trial is earnestly somoitkd.
