Ahaura, November 22. Mr Curtis has held meetings, and addressed the electors at Brunnerton and No Town. A r the former there were thirty present. A vote of confidence in Mr Curtis 1 1 passed, with only one dissentient voice. AtNn Town there were a .hundred and fifty persons in the room. A vote of confidence was passed, an amendment to the contrary being lost, enly twelve hands being held up for it At Ahaura a vote of confidence was passed almost unanimously. Charleston. Nov. 24. The most effective meeting ever held at Charleston took place at the Theatre Royal, on Saturday last by Mr i'onne. the candidate for a seat in the Provincial Council. About four hundred were present. A 'vote of confidence was carried, and the meeting wound up with lour hearty cheers for " Honest George." Another meeting was held by Mr Dwan the pome evening when a motioi of fitness was pa?se lamidst great cheering
