NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"Ratepayer" has not furnished us with his name and address. Unless he comnlies with our established rule, we rau3t decline to publish his communication. Letters for insertion in the Evening Mail must be written upon one side of tbe paper only, and sent to the office before 12 o'clock noon, or they will not appear in that evening's'paper. No notice can be taken of anonymous communications. Whatever is intended for insertion in this journal must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for publication, but as a guarantee of good faith.
