GOVERNMENT NOTICES. RIFLE PRIZE SHOOTING. Superintendent's Ofiice, Nelson, 6th December, 1866. AS the advertisement which appeared in the Nelson Examiner of this morning's issue, Avith. my name at the foot, stating that the SHOOTING for the Provincial Government Prize Rules will take place on SATURDAY next, the Bth of December, is likely to create some contusion, as the Captains of some of the Companies have fixed another day for that purpose, which they were fully authorised to do, I have to state that the advertisement referred to teas published without any authority from this Office, and that, therefore, the dates fixed for the Shooting by the Captains of the Companies may be adhered to. The Printing will be divided into the following portions : — 1. The Government Gazette. 2. Bills, Acts, and Estimates. 3. Votes and Proceedings, and Daily Notices of the Provincial Council. 4. Statistics and Similar Returns, chiefly comprising figures. 5. Blank Forms and other Jobs not included in the above portions. Tenders for the first portion to specify a price per sheet demy Svo., as well as per sheet of foolscap folio: Tenders will be received for the whole or any separate portion of the above. Tenders will also be received up to the same date for supplying STATIONERY for the year 1867, to the several Government Offices. List of Articles required may be seen at this Oflice.
