Professor Jacobs. —Last evening the Professor gave another of his very clever performances, at the Odd-fellows' Hall. The attendance was larger than upon the previous occasion. The various tricks performed excited universal wonder; one particularly so, whereby the sum of the pips of various cards selected by different persons, were made to be equal to the sum of several figures put down on a piece of paper "by others of the audience. The Professor calls one portion of his performance an exposure of spiritualism. We can scarcely think so, because he does not explain the means by which the various noises are mada His new mode of manufacturing milk would be invaluable at sea, we, therefore, advise him to take out a patent for it. The Professor announced, at the conclusion, that, at the request of several people, he had decided to give an entertainment on Monday evening next, more particularly for the amusement of the juvenile community. We trust that his very clever powers as an improvisatore will form part of the programme on that occasion.
