All material with cuttings are much en vogue. Here it is used for an afternoon gown where the openwork pattern makes a decorative effect at the edge of the skirt and on the sleeves as well as on the front of the blouse; there are also possibilities for an intriguing composition of colours produced by a coloured underskirt.
