:£WSS!S m m m m m m A WIDOW, BUT her income goes on WHEN Arthur Macadam Salisbury was married at 25, he had only a small salary, but he became a member of the A.M.P. Society and decided to put aside 12/6 a week for investment in an A.M.P. policy for £1,500, payable at death. Realising, however, that if he were to die before he had built up a larger estate, his wife would have but a small income from the investment of £1,500, he arranged with the Society to pay her the sum assured (in the event of his death) as a quarterly income of £29/-/5 for 10 years. That, he found, on investigation, gave his wife the largest possible income for the money But—and this was very important—A.M.P. bonuses have a way of mounting up, and he directed that any bonuses that had accrued at the time of his death should be paid to her immediately in a lump sum. He died early in 1936. His wife received £1,082, in a lump sum, in bonuses, and she will enjoy, in addition, an income of £1 16 a year for 10 years, out of that policy alone. All this on an investment equal to 12/6 a week!. The Society will be happy to send an experienced adviser to discuss the matter with any young man anxious to do likewise. Say the word and you, reader, can put your wife under similar protection before the day is out. AMP IB SO C l ETY THE LARGEST MUTUAL LIFE OFFICE IN THE EMPIRE Established 1849.
