Swimming Club Carnival

FIRST OF SERIES HELD

The first of a series of swimming carnivals Avas held by the Amberley Swimming Club in the Amberley Baths on Tuesday evening. The interest the venture has aroused was reflected in the good attendance at the baths, and a \ r ery successful evening of races was enjoyed. Messrs J. M. South (diving), J Schofield senr., and R. Schofield acted as judges, Mr Hayes as timekeeper, and Mr W. E. Cook as starter. After the sports, the prizes Avere presented by the club president, Mr W. E. Cook.
