Kitchen Evening Held

MISS DOODY HONOURED

Miss Nancye Doody, of Oxford, whose marriage to Mr E. W. Gee will take place soon, was the guest of honour at a very enjoyable kitchen evening given recently by two of her bridesmaids-to-be, Misses Norali Fitzgibboa and Marie Dpody, in the Oxford A. and P. Hall. The evening was spent in dancing, games, and competitions, and a vocal item Avas given by Mrs W. J. Roberts. After a dainty buffet supper had been served, the bride-to-be opened many parcels containing useful and varied gifts for her future home. On behalf of his daughter Mr Thomas Doody thanked everybody for their kindness, and those who had helped to make the evening such a success. Mr W. J. Roberts proposed the toast of his former school pupil, the guest of honour. Music for dancing Avas supplied by Mrs L Paterson, Avith extras by Mr E. Knowles. Mr LaAvrenco Paterson was M.C.
