PERSONAL Mrs C. Inglis left Kaiapoi to reside in Lyttelton yesterday. Mr M. Clark, Walker Street, is at present visiting Mr and Mrs W .A. Young, Wellington. Misses F. and H. Kame, Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, are staying Avith Mr and Mrs W. Richards, “WilloAvdene,” Kaiapoi. ; Miss B. Tourell left this morning for the West Coast. REGATTA DANCE Another of the Regatta Committee’s enjoyable series of dances Avas held Avith success on Saturday night. The attendance both for dancing and euchre Avas good. Sid Shackel’s band played for the dancing, and Mr G. Garrett Avas master of ceremonies. WEDDING RECEPTION FolloAving the marriage of Edna Alice Miles and Edgar John Francis Pengelly, at Kaiapoi recently, the bride’s mother, Mrs H. Miles, received her guests at the Foresters’ Hall. The Misses Morrison gave an exhibition of dancing Avhich Avas much enjoyed, and Mr Hutton gave a piccolo solo, and, Avith his son, piccolo duets.
