AN APPLE PIE TIP A good apple pie is always a favourite. Those who are not satisfied with results would do well to observe the following instructions: Having placed Fether-Flake, make a few cuts in paste to allow steam-to escape. Then place pie towards top of oven until browned. The pie should then be placed in bottom of oven to allow apples and under side of paste to bake. Fether-Flake is puff pastry ready to bake. Nothing to add and no mixing needed. 9d per lb. at the Ernest Adams Ltd. Cake Shop, High Street, Rangiora.
