Notornis Film Be Shown Soon
DUNEDIN. Wed (PA.)—The pub.ie should soon be able to see a fi m of the notornis taken in its last stronghold at the far side of Lake Te Anau.
An expedition led by Dr R. A. Falla, director of the Dominion Museum, completed its work yesterday and returned to Te Anau with many feet of movie film and dozens of still shots of the bird in its natural habitat. The film will bp 'plea ed foi genera distribution with thp National Fi m Un t's weekly review. This was the fourth expedition into the notornis country this year, and a great deal more has been learned about the bird and its habits.
Another expedition is planned for next March.
