Thief Used 'Please Enter' Sign
AUCKLAND, Mon. (P.A.)— Ticket money totalling £4O was taken when the office of the Empire Games organising committee, on the third floor of a city building, was burgled during the week-end.
The intruder .broke a hole on a “please enter” sign on the glass panel of the office door to slip the lock and gain entry. The money had been received too late to bank before the week-end.
