Paparoa Indoor Sport’s Club Season
PAPAROA. Fri. <Sp.) —The Paparoa Indoor Sports Club officially closed its 1949 season last, night with a social evening in the Jubilee Hall. Trophies won during the season for table tennis were presented by the president (the Rev. R. T. Alexander).
Mrs A. Harman was the most successful competitor, winning both the ladies’ championship and handlesingles. The men's championship was \vu Mr R. N. Skelton and the hand: single* by Mr A. Quaife.
Miss J. Hammond entertained with pianoforte solos.
