New Zealand's First Film Of Industrial Dispute?

A FILM believed to be the first ever taken of an industrial dispute'in New Zealand will be screened for trade unionists in Whangarei as soon as it becomes available. The secretary of the Whangarei Trades Council (Mr H. H. Boreham) said this at the meeting of the council last night. Taken by Mr C. Holmes, who was involved in the satchel case inquiry, the film deals with an aspect of the labour dispute in Auckland which culminated in the deregistering of the Auckland Carpenters' Union.
