To be held in Auctioneers' Yards. adjoining Otahuhu Railway Station Op: IN-CALF HEIFERS, including 16 FRIESIANS 19 A YRSHIRES The above cattle were purchased for export some time ago. Owing to the industrial trouble on the wharves the boat is over six weeks late in sailing, and due to the closeness of the heifers to calving we have received instructions from our clients overseas to dispose of them on their behalf. The Friesian heifers are chiefly from the studs of Mr Les Gallon, of Carterton. and Mr Ken Fairbrother. of Carterton. and are all well-backed and a splendid line. There will also be a small outside entry from Mr A. W. Montgomerie. Mangere. The Ayrshires are specially selected from local studs, including Kinnettle's MAYFAIR arid other well-known studs.
