Paris Seamstresses Officially End Strike
PARIS, Thu. (11 am.).—The Parisian seamstresses officially ended their strike for higher wages today, but the trouble is not yet over as a number of them disapprove of this decision. A member of their strike committee told seamstresses to return to work as the employers had promised to discuss their terms. Many of the seamstresses have resumed work, but others defied their strike committee and will hold a secret meeting among themselves to decide what action to take.
