Vehicles Collide, Passengers Escape
In a collision between two motor vehicles in Kamo Road, Whangarei, yesterday afternoon, a car was overturned. Only one of the occupants of the vehicles was slightly injured. A truck driven by Mr E. M. J. Draffin, of Towai, and a car driven by Mr A. T. Phyn, of V/hangarei, collided near the intersection of Kamo Road and King Street, and the car was turned over on its right-hand side. Mr Phyn received a knock on his legs, while the three.women passengers in the car received a shaking, but nhne required medical attention. Mr Draffin and a passenger in the truck were unhurt. Both vehicles were slightly damaged.
