Eight Changes In All Blacks Today

CAPETOWN, Fri. (11.30 a.m.). - The English Rugby international. Major A. H. Macilwaine, was seriously injured in a motor acciden* while on his way from the Umtali district of Southern Rhodesia to Salisbury to see the match between the All Blacks and Rhodesia. The All Blacks have made . eight changes in the team to meet Rhodesia in the second game at Salisbury. The only surprises in this were that Elvidge was not brought back to give more thrust to the inside backs combination. He could have spelled Allen. Also that Catley was not brought in. Wilson did a good job in Wednesday’s game, but fast hooking is essential to the success of the backs. The team is: Scott, Meates, Delamore, Botting, Allen, Black, Conrad. Simpson, Wilson, Skinner, Johnstone, McHugh, Frazer, Crowley, Christian. Only two changes have been made in the Rhodesia team and these are due to injury. The team is: Pretorius, Kidd, Brune, van Schoor, Brink, Karg, Viljoen, Morkel (captain), Greaves, Painting, Jones, Birkin, Prinsloo, Putteril, Slabber.
