Record Whole Catch In Tory Channel
BLENHEIM, Fri. (P.A.)— With a total catch of 113 whales to date, Perano Brothers’ Tory Channel party ' has exceeded the previous record for a season by seven. Four whales were captured on Tuesday. two on Wednesday and one yesterday. Two whales were being watched well out in the Strait this morning, but the sea was too choppy for chasers to go out. “There is no indication when the season will close, as we still arc seeing plenty of whales,” said Mr G. Perano today.
