KEN KENNETH Eric Holmback, who will meet New Zealand heavyweight wrestling champion Ken Keimth at Whangarel on Friday, July 22, has a chest measurement of 57i inches and is easily the biggest chested wrestler New Zealanders have seen His drawing power in sport, however, is not based on his physical development. New Zealand wrestling enthusiasts want to see good, fast and rugged wrestling, and Holmback, with wins over Levy, Raines and McCready, has more than made the grade in that direction. Ken Kenneth, who has made marked improvement as the result of his second visit to America, twice tamed the rough and tough Dick Raines this season, and since being awarded the New Zealand championship on the retirement of Lofty Blomfield. has developed an attacking spirit based on the desire to be a worthy successor to the former champion. Raines recently stated that Kenneth’s Irish Wh.p hold will take h;m as far along the road as it took Danno O’Mahoney, who won the world title wilh it. Such oraise from a wrestler whose name is known wherever wrestlers compete is a tribute to the hard work put in by Kenneth and his energetic wrestling. Against Holmback at ' Wbnngnrei on Friday, July 22, the New Zealand champion should be seen at his oest. Whatever', happens it should be a particularly willing affair.
