Annual competitions between Dargaville and Whangarei secondary schools were played in Dargaville. Honours went to Dargaville, which won the Rugby , and basketball fixtures, drew in tbe girl’s hockey, and lost in the' boys’ hockey.
Scores: Rugby: Dargaville 8, Whangarei third grade 0. Basketball: Dargaville 37, Whangarei 14. Hockey.—Girls: Dargaville 1, Whangarei 1. Boys: Whangarei 3, Dargaville 0.
