UEj/\ Ulis BIRCH.—On July 17, 1949, passed peacefully away at his residence, Whakapara, Waiter, beloved husband of Ani Nehua, and loved father of Bennett Eru (Auckland), Alma (Mrs. N. Slielford), Ceila (Mrs. F. Nisbit, Whangaruru), Walter Jnr., Frank, and loved stepfather of Peter (Whangaruru), Lily (Mrs. W. Hoskins, Otane), Connie (MrsA. Kaki, Waihou Valley), George (late of Australia); in his 78th year. To be interred at the Whakapara Cemetery on Wednesday, July 20, at 2,30 pm. Sadly missed. 861 TULLOCH,—On July 16 (suddenly), at her son's residence, Lochaber, Onehunga, Jane Ann, beloved wife of the late James Tulloch, and loved mother of Caroline and James Edward; in her 91st year. 852
