Plane Strut Found Cast Up On Beach
AUCKLAND. Sat., (Sp).— A wing strut believed to bo wreckage from the Tiger Moth ZK-ATS. which failed to return after a local flight from Mangere on April 28. has been washed up on the'beach at Kariotahi Gan. Owned by the Auckland Aero Club, tiie plane was piloted bv Mr James Innes Taylor, aged 20, of Queen Street. Cambridge, the sole occupant. The strut was painted red. the colour of the missing plane. A police search failed to find further wreckage.
