Chinese Pirates Posed As Passengers
HONGKONG, Fri. (11 a.m.)—Pirates took over the 350-ton Chinese vessel Kwei Hwa, bound from Hongkong to Canton, according to a Lloyds’ report at, Hongkong today. Six men who posed as passengers seized control of the vessel, which was carrying 320 passengers, at Pearl River, south of Canton.
The pirates took off two officers and nine passengers after robbing the others and stealing the cargo.
