Boy Killed
AUCKLAND, Fri. (P.A.>— A boy was killed outright this morning when he was hit by a motor car on the Great South Road. ' The boy was: Neville Andrews, aged about 10, of One Tree Hill.
At the Newmarket bloodstock sales, which concluded today, a total of 142,725 guineas was paid for . 187 yearlings, compared with 124,145 guineas for 192 lots at the stile last year.
