Approve Whangarei Borough Expansion
WELLINGTON, Fri. (Sp.) -Three areas of land have been transferred from the Whangarei County Council to the Whangarei Borough Council as from May 1, according to a Gazette notice.
Electricity in these areas— in Morningside, Whau Valley and Woodhill —is to be supplied by the council and not the North Auckland Power Board from July 1. The provisions are in accordance with the scheme approved by the Local Government Commission. >.
