98 - Year-Old Breaks Leg
Ninety-eight years old, Mr Frank Stewart, of Mahineta, Kaeo, broke both bones of his left leg and is a patient in the Whangarei District Hospital. The accident occurred at Whananaki, where he was visiting friends. In the darkness, he missed his footing and slipped into a ditch. Considering his great age his condition today was reported to be remarkably good.
