HANGOVER HEADACHES
AUCKLAND, Fri. (P.A.).—Hangover headaches can be avoided, claims Professor G. W. Pickering, professor of medicine at the University of London, who is now visiting New Zealand. The prescription is one pint of water before going to bed after a party. “That the real tip,” he told an interviewer today. Professor Pickering is sure a “tired" headache is caused by maintained contraction of facia] muscles.
"When you wrinkle your forehead and screw up your eyes you are a candidate for a headache,” he said.
'Relax your face and you will avoid
“We are still having trouble in discovering how to avoid headaches, though.” Professor Pickering will address members of the British Medical Association in Auckland on Tuesday night.
