Motor Cyclist Hurt
A motor-cyclist was injured when his cycle collided with the back of a truck in Maunu Road, Whangarei, at about 1.45 p.m. today.
He was Mr Gordon Barker, 19, of Mata North.
Admitted to the Whangarei Hospital, he. was found to be suffering from concussion, scalp wounds and a probable fracture of the left forearm. The driver of the truck was Mr J. Pevats, of Second Avenue, Whangarei. Extensive damage was caused to the motor-cycle.
