Caucus Support's Govt. Attitude
WELLINGTON, Fri. (P.A.)—The Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) stated this morning that the caucus of the Labour Party has approved the attitude of the Government in relation to the Public Service and that it had also endorsed the action of the Government over the Holmes letter.
He was referring to the publication of correspondence which Mr Holmes alleged . had been removed from his car when parked in Parliament Building grounds. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Holland) said today that he had had a conference with delegates of various branches of the Public Service Association and had assured them he was constantly in touch with their efforts to improve the conditions of public servants.
