Public Bequests By Northlanders
AUCKLAND Sat. (Sp.l .—Several bequests have been made to public organisations under the wills of Auckland residents who have died recently. A sum of £IOO has been left to the Victoria League, Auckland, by Mrs Edith Mary Macfarlane, widow of Mr J. B. Macfarlane, who died on December 2. Her estate has been valued for probate at. under £50,000. Mr Charles Henry Purser, of Beachhaven, left the whole of his estate to the Salvation Army. .The net amount will probably be £3OO. The New Zealand Conference of Seventh Day Adventists will benefit by £IOO under the will of Mrs Mary Ellen Paap, of Newton. Her blankets and matresses are to be distributed to needy persons.
