CENTRAL PARK POOL Excavation work commenced today on the removal of the shingle that wa' washed into Central Park pool byfloods last year. There is an estimated 250 cubic yards of shingle in the pool, and it is being removed by a D2 load-er-dozer. which is loading directly into the trucks in the stream bed, from which the trucks are driven up a ramp.
