BUDAPEST.—The deputy Premier (M. Rakosi.), in a report to the central committee of the Hungarian Communist Party, of which he is secretary, said the “kid glove policy” toward reactionary leaders of the Roman Catholic Church ip Hungary had ended and the full foiee of state powers would b e applied against them.
It is considered that ho was obViously referring to Cardinal Josef Mindszenty, Hungary's Roman Catholic Primate, whose verbal conflict with the Government has bc-en growing in bitterness.
