TRICKERY
COPENHAGEN.— The Danish Government considers it was tricked in granting concessions in 1936 to American interests for prospecting the natural subterranean resources of Denmark, stated the Minister of Public Works <M. Carl Petersen). The Minister said an American engineer in 1936 showed Government officials a lump of salt, which he said he had dug ; up. Experts later proved that the lump of salt was faked in order to obtain concessions.
The Minister said the C|ovex - nment Consequently felt free to annul the concessions. • • •
