ALIENS
WELLINGTON.—Provision for the Minister of Finance to require an alien deported from New Zealand to pay for the expenses of his deportation, and for the Minister to acquire money or property of an alien to meet deportation expenses was included in the Aliens Bill in the Legislative Council yesterday. The bill was passed. 9 9 9
