AUCKLAND. A Rarotongan concert partyibrrived at Auckland in the Maui Pomare yesterday. It will visit the original landing places of „ the Maori canoes and other Maori settlements on a goodwill mission. The tour is intended to strengthen relations beMaoris ufJP.e Cook Islands and New Zealand. Ancient war and custom dances will be performed by the party, which, after staying for the next few days at Orakei. will take part in the coronation anniversary celebrations at Ngaruawahia on Thursday. It is expected that the party will participate in Maori functions during the Royal visit next year, as, to avoid the hurricane season, it will not return to Rarotonga until next March. Princess Pa-ito-riki and Piri Moate are in charge of the mission, which has 37 members.
