Indecent Messages Over Telephone
In the interests of public decency, the Whangarei Court was cleared today during the hearing of a case against a young man charged with giving indecent messages over the telephone. After heaping evidence the magistrate (Mr W. C. Harley) admitted the accused to probation for one year under special conditions and warned him that if he again appeared on a similar charge he would be imprisoned without further discussion. Accused’s name „was suppressed.
