LONDON.^® 0 Foreig Ernest letter to Mr William Greenhalgh concerning the appeal i which Mr Bevin instituted . in Moscow against the sentence of two years’ imprisonment passed on August or* Mr Greenhalgh’s Russian wife for a registration irregularity.
Mr Kevin’s letter states tfiat*be had “regretfully decided that it, would do 3no good to make further representations to Moscow at present.”
Mr Greenhalgh’s wife is one of the Russian women whom the Russians refused to allow to join their British husbands.
