Northland Dancing Competition Winners
Results of the finals of the Northland dancing competitions, held in Whangarei, were: — Waltz section: Miss N. Howie and Mr H. McGregor. Quickstep: Mr and Mrs N. Farrell.
Runners-up in the quickstep section were Miss S. Salmon and Mr E. Bevan.
The finals produced a high standard of dancing, according to the judges (Miss Thor a Warrington and Mr B. Nottingham). So even were the contestants that three couples were called to the floor a second time.
