Poverty Bay Team On S.I Tour
GISBORNE, Mon. (P.A.)—The Poverty Bay Rugby representatives left this morning on their first South Island tour.
They will play matches against Canterbury, on September 1, Otago on September 4 for the Ranfurly Shield and Southland on September 8. The team is as follows; Backs— w McGregor, J. Barbour, R. Clay, G. Harris, I. James, R. McKinley, W. Edwards, S. Lee, N. Kane, B. Brown.
Forwards —W. Brown, G. King, W. Carrington. I. Munro, N. Summersby, B. Birrell, G. Elliott, I. Shaw, K. Bullivant, J. Ferguson, T. Donovan. The forwards average 13st 51b.
